The Diary of Kyle Robinson (Part 1) formerly the Diary of Elise Robinson

This is collaboration project with fellow simmers on the Sim forums where we each play a legacy using the same founder, Elise Robinson. If you’d like to check out the challenge or read the other Elise’s you can find them here

Dear Diary,

I don’t know how to start one of these things.  My mom sat me down the other day and told me how she had been keeping a diary, documenting her life.  She said future generations would want to know how it all started.  She said how she was getting too old and was ready to pass down the legacy to me.  So I guess it’s up to me to preserve this family’s history.  But first things first my name is Kyle.  Nice to meet you diary and whoever winds up reading this.

Not sure I’m ready for this,

Kyle

Dear Diary,

Not sure if you knew this but I’m a twin.  My twin sister, Jamie, and I are as close as you can be.  But she recently moved out.  Of course I visit her all the time and we call and facetime all the time but it’s not the same as living together.  I miss her terribly.

Missing my other half,

Kyle

Dear Diary,

Jamie and I may be twins but we are very different.  I’m more shy and reserved.  Jamie was always the one seeking attention, especially attention from boys.  She’s had a few boyfriends, I’ve yet to kiss one.  She was or I think still is dating our sisters old crush but that didn’t stop her from moving in with some other guy.  She swears they are just friends.  But I’m her twin remember, I know when she’s lying.

When will it be my turn,

Kyle

Dear Diary,

The most amazing thing happened to me the other day dear diary.  I was visiting Jamie.  She was giving me a tour of the place.  Turns out the guy she’s living with is an amateur dj.  I got to see his studio.  He even let me test out his tables.  Diary it was the most amazing feeling.  My whole body felt a surge of power when I touched that vinyl.  I think I may have figured out what I want to do with my life.

You can call me Miss Mix Alot,

Kyle

Dear Diary,

Did mommy tell you about my other sister Lorelei?  I’m sure she did.  It would be kind of messed up if she didn’t write about all her kids.  I wonder what she wrote about me.  Anyway you probably know that Lorelei was pregnant.  Well she had the baby!  I little girl name Madeline.  She’s precious and perfect.  Lorelei asked me to be her godmother, how could I say no!

Proud Auntie and godmother,

Kyle

Dear Diary,

Speaking of pregnant sisters, my other sister Jerrica had her baby.  Mommy was there for her since Jerrica decided she didn’t want the father in her life.  That whole situation doesn’t make sense to me but Jerrica’s always done what she wanted and isn’t great at listening to advice.  She had a little boy,  Lucas Grant Robinson.  We were all shocked, girls tend to be the norm in our family.

Here comes the age of the boys,

Kyle

Dear Diary,

I finally talked to mommy and daddy about my dream of being a dj.  They didn’t get it at first.  They were worried about me being able to provide for myself.  I told them how much I loved it and how it made me the happiest I’d ever felt behind a turntable.   After hearing that they gave me their blessing and said they would help however they could to make my dream come true.

Daughter of the best parents ever,

Kyle

Dear Diary,

I thought after you had a baby you wanted to rest.  Give your body time to heal after pushing a person out of it.  Not Jerrica.  She is back to her normal training.  If you looked at her you wouldn’t believe she had just had a baby.

Definitely not the athletic sister,

Kyle

Dear Diary,

My dad is amazing.  I consider him one of my best friends.  I can talk to him about anything.  He’s getting older which only reminds me of the limited amount of time I have with him.  I’m going to make sure I spend as much of that time with him.

Daddies girl forever,

Kyle

Dear Diary,

I have a studio!!!  Yes it’s not state of the art and most of it is second hand but it’s an actual studio.  I can spin and mix to my hearts content.

Dreams do come true,

Kyle

Dear Diary,

I’m in love with the most perfect boy in the world.  He’s a little on the young side but I don’t care.  Silly diary I’m talking about my nephew.  Lucas is the best baby ever.  He’s for sure going to be a heart breaker when he grows up.

Happiest auntie,

Kyle

Dear Diary,

I don’t know how my parents do it.  After all these years they still are crazy about each other.  I can’t tell you how any times I spy them flirting with each other or sneaking a kiss.  I hope I find a love like their’s.  Though a love like that is hard to find.

Raised by good role models,

Kyle

Dear Diary,

Growing up with so many sisters has it’s rough patches.  I can’t tell you how many fights have broken out over a tube of lipstick or how many days of not speaking to each other because of a boy.  But in the end I wouldn’t trade my sisters in for anything.  They are always there for me when I need them.

Robinson girls for life,

Kyle

Dear Diary,

Since moving out Jamie hasn’t been home much.  Her moving out was hard on me but it was really hard on mommy.  Mommy and daddy always say they don’t have favorites but I know Jamie always held a special place in mommy’s heart.  Though if I’m being honest Hiram is by far her favorite.

Happy to be number two or three,

Kyle

Dear Diary,

Kimber and Connor are still going strong.  They are finalizing their wedding plans and trying to find a place to live after they get married.  Mommy said they could live with us but daddy wasn’t to keen on that idea.  Especially since Connor’s younger cousin Wolfgang just started living with him.  He’s kinda cute so I wouldn’t mind having him around.

Hoping for a new roommate,

Kyle

Dear Diary,

It’s mommy’s birthday.  Of course we had to throw a party.  It was a small gathering of just the family but with our family it’s never small.

So many Robinson’s we should start a football team,

Kyle

Dear Diary,

Since Wolfgang is staying with Connor he came to mommy’s birthday party.  We talked a little and diary there were butterflies.  He’s really cute and a little bit dangerous.  I think he likes me.  He was flirting with me at least I think he was, I’m so bad a this stuff.  I don’t think mommy is too fond of him though.

Possibly in like,

Kyle

Dear Diary,

It’s so hard to not went to find that special someone when around my family.  You have my parents who are literally the poster couple for true love.  Of course there’s Hiram and Monica who were high school sweethearts, and still act like it.  Lorelei had a few bumps in the road before meeting her soulmate, Anas.  The way he looks at her is like how Edward looked at Bella in all the Twilight movies.  Then there’s Kimber and Connor who don’t make sense on paper but if you see them together you know they are soulmates.  Will I ever find my true love?

Maybe I already have,

Kyle

Dear Diary,

Happy Birthday to best mom in the whole wide world.  She is a true gem.  If I’m half the woman she is when I’m older then I’ll be truly blessed.  I love her more then words can say.  Oh and if you are reading this mom, you look hella good.  Loving the grey!

Happy Birthday mommy!

Kyle

Dear Diary,

Wolfgang and I got a chance to be alone.  I thought this may be it, this may be our beginning.  But all he wanted to talk about was this club he’s in and how they pull pranks all over town.  I tried to change the conversation to anything else but it always came back to that stupid club.  Then I realized he wasn’t so much cute as he was grungy and messy.

So much for finding love tonight,

Kyle

  1. So here I was just going through the huge list of recent posts from everyone I follow in my never-ending attempt to catch up when I see this! Ohmygosh how exciting. I love her already. Elise looks just as great as an elder and all of the kids seem to be doing good. Hopefully, Kyle will find her man.
