Dear Diary,

Have you ever heard the saying when it rains it pours?  Well it’s raining grand babies for me.  Jerrica is pregnant! I’m not going to lie I was a bit shocked when she told me.  I didn’t realize her and Moose were that serious.  In fact I don’t think they are even dating.  But no matter what I’m happy for her and support her.  I was so honored to be the first person she told!

It’s definitely different times nowadays,

Elise

Dear Diary,

It turns out I wasn’t the first person Jerrica told.  Of course I should have realized she would tell her twin Kimber first.  It’s that whole twin thing.  Kimber wasn’t as understanding as I was.  She was worried about how Jerrica would raise the baby.  Honestly so am I.

So many questions,

Elise

Dear Diary,

I was most worried about how Akira would react to the news of Jerrica being pregnant.  I don’t think he likes the idea of his baby girls being with a man.  Trust me he certainly knows how babies are made.  However he was ok with it.  Actually he was pretty excited about it.  I’m a little worried he’s becoming senile.

Go away old age,

Elise

Dear Diary,

I found out what Jerrica intends to do about the baby.  She’s decided to raise it on her own.  Of course she told Moose, but she also told him she didn’t want anything from him.  That he was off the hook so to speak.  She told him all this the other day.  I wish I knew what he thought of it all but Jerrica said she left before he had the chance to tell her.

Worried my little girl is making a big mistake,

Elise

Dear Diary,

I’m officially a grandma!!  Monica and Hiram’s precious baby girl was born.  They’ve named her Kyleigh and she’s devine.  Of course she loves her grandma more then anything in this world.

Elise

Dear Diary,

Kyleigh loves her Auntie Kyle.  Kyle is such a natural.  She’s going to be an amazing mother one day.  Not that I want her to have kids anytime soon (two daughters pregnant at one time is enough).

She learned from the best,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Jamie has been hanging out with a new boy, yes she’s still seeing Nico.  But now she’s seeing another one of her sisters rejects.  I can’t remember his name but he was that guy who was really into Lorelei and was also in Hiram’s club.  After Jerrica’s shocking news perhaps I should sit down and have a conversation with Jamie.  I would hope that she’s still a virgin but I’m not that naive.

Problems only a mother of daughters would know,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Akira wasn’t as cool with Jerrica being pregnant as he first appeared.  He’s been warning the other girls the dangers of having woohoo.  He’s forbidden them from even looking at boys until they are at least 40.

Such a silly husband I have,

Elise

Dear Diary,

With Akira in such a tizzy lately about the girls dating lives he needed something to calm him down.  I had gotten a nice little bonus at work so I decided to build him a sort of man cave.  Right now all that’s in there is a wood working station but that seems to have done the trick.

Who’s the best wife ever, this girl,

Elise

Dear Diary,

I would have thought being pregnant would have slowed down Jerrica and the working out.  But no she’s still going strong.  In fact she’s even gotten Kimber exercising something other then her brain.

She must get her discipline from her mother,

Elise

Dear Diary,

My poor Jerrica.  Being pregnant is not agreeing with her.  She’s been having such bad back aches, though that might have to do with her still pushing the limits when she’s exercising.  I was lucky, I never experienced back pains or much morning sickness with any of the kids.  Sometimes I miss being pregnant.

Would a baby really be such a bad idea at my age,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Kimber and Connor are still going strong.  It’s really true what they say about opposites attract.  Kimber is such an intellect who’s favorite sport is chess.  Where as Connor lives breathes and sleeps sports but has recently been learning the intricacies of Kimber’s favorite past time.  It’s only a matter of time before those two will be saying I do and starting a family of their own.

Checkmate,

Elise

Dear Diary,

I really don’t know what to do about Jamie.  I’m all about exploring love when you’re at that age but stringing two guys along at once is not something I approve of.  I thought she had finally chosen Lorelei’s old admirer but Kimber said she saw her getting hot and heavy with Nico.  She needs to make a decision soon or she will risk losing both guys.

Raising a heartbreaker,

Elise

Dear Diary,

I hate to admit it but my dear husband, the love of my life has gotten old.  He is tired all the time and spends a lot of the day napping.  It’s starting to hit me that his time with us is drawing to a close and it breaks my heart.  What will I ever do without him?

Praying for a few more days,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Akira and I are seriously reconsidering moving Kyle’s room upstairs with us.  She has her music on non stop and is constantly stomping around dancing.  I love that she has such a passion for something but mama needs her beauty rest.

Looking to invest in ear plugs,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Connor proposed to Kimber!!  And after considering all the possibilities she said yes!  Even during the most romantic moment of her life she can’t turn of that brain of hers.   Something tells me this will be a long engagement.

Waiting on finding a mother of the bride dress,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Of course once again I was not the first to find out about Kimber’s engagement.  Her twin sister once again gets that honor.  Not only that but Kimber asked Jerrica to be her maid of honor.  Jerrica said yes of course but asked her sister to wait until she was no longer the size of a barge.

Mother of two sets of twins and never once looked like a barge,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Jerrica has formed a surprising friendship with Anas, Lorelei’s boyfriend/baby daddy.   It all started when she went over to Lorelei’s for their weekly prenatal yoga class.  There was a disaster at the art gallery Lorelei works at, so instead of going by herself Jerrica decided to get to know her sister’s partner better.  The two seem to have a lot in common, like a love of all things supernatural and a strong dislike of garlic.

Who doesn’t like garlic,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Do you know what the best part of being a grandparent is…being able to spoil he crap out of you grand kids.   My precious darling girl, Kyleigh had a birthday a few days ago so Akira and I bought her the biggest, bestest fairy house money could buy.  She loved it but her parents were less thrilled.

The best grandma in the world,

Elise

Dear Diary,

For a man who naps the majority of the day, Akira sure finds the energy to play with his granddaughter.  He says she makes him feel young again.

Keep doing your magic baby girl,

Elise

Dear Diary,

The day has finally come.  We have a backyard!  It’s a legit real backyard with a pool and everything.  With such a large family and now with all the new babies and husbands on the way it was time to have a proper place for us to all get together.

How did my life get to be so good,

Elise

Dear Diary,

My last babies are now adults.  I just want to cry in a corner somewhere.  Where has the time gone.  I still remember the day when Kyle an Jamie were potty training together and now they are both ready to enter to big scary world.  Thankfully just like they’ve done everything, they will do it together!

Too young to have kids this old,

Elise

Dear Diary,

I was wrong.  For the first time since they were born Jamie and Kyle will be facing the world alone.  Jamie has decided to move out.  She said it was time for her to fly and be free.  I will miss my little wild child dearly but I worry about how Kyle will take the news of her twin sister no longer always by her side.

Suffering from empty nest syndrome,

Elise
