The Diary of Elise Robinson (Part 9)

This is collaboration project with fellow simmers on the Sim forums where we each play a legacy using the same founder, Elise Robinson. If you’d like to check out the challenge or read the other Elise’s you can find them here

Dear Diary,

My last babies have grown up.  Kyle and Jamie are no longer precious little toddlers, they are snotty little kids.  I kid of course they are not snotty…..well at least I’m hoping they won’t be.  What I do know is that like their brother and sisters before them they are beautiful.

Missing my babies,

Elise

Dear Diary,

I was worried living in a house full of teenagers would be a disaster but surprisingly it’s not.  In fact they teens are very helpful around the house.  Akira and I were the only ones who were able to do repairs and clean but now all the older kids have been pitching in.  I’m glad to see I’ve raised them right.

Mother of busy little bees,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Dressing the twins alike all these years I thought they were so similar.  But as they are getting older I’ve noticed just how different they are.  Kimber’s nose is always in a book.  She wants to know everything about everything.  Unlike her sister Jerrica who you can’t get to sit still for two seconds.  She needs to be constantly moving.  She’s recently discovered jogging.  I’ll have to tell her about all the fitness competitions I won when I was younger.  Oh you didn’t know that about me dear diary.

You learn something new everyday,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Have I told you how Kyle wants to be an artist just like her big sister Lore.  It’s adorable how much she worships her.  She’s constantly following Lore around asking her tons of questions about art.  She evens wants to dye her hair blue.  I told her she’s too young to dye her hair.

I have to set some limits,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Jerrica convinced her siblings to check out the local gym.  She loved everything about it.  The sounds, the smells, the boys!  I don’t know what the other kids thought of it but I’m sure they all got quite a work out.

Healthy and happy,

Elise

Dear Diary,

What I thought was going to happen happened.  Billie asked Hiram to meet her at the shore near our house.  I told Hiram it wasn’t a good idea because it was clear Billie liked him.  He told me I had nothing to worry about because he was with Monica and loved her.  Well you can see the shore from the living room window and guess what I saw when I looked out there to check on him.  I’ll give you a hint it wasn’t a boy letting a girl down gently that’s for sure.

Mother of a cheater,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Jerrica woke up in such a mood the other day.  No matter what any of us did it only made it worse.  In walks Akira with his out of this world pancakes.  Of course after that Jerrica was smiling the rest of the day.

Pancakes cure everything,

Elise

Dear Diary,

I’ve been bad diary.  I’ve been so neglectful of my plants.  It has gotten so bad that the kids can’t take it anymore.  I spied Jerrica and Hiram weeding and spraying the garden.  I know I should have went out there to help but there was such a good lifetime movie on tv that I couldn’t walk away from.

No longer much of a green thumb,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Nico has been hanging out with Lore a lot.  He even went to the park when she had to watch her sisters.  The girls said he was one of the best sea monsters they’ve ever seen.  I’m happy to see Lore making friends.  I just wonder if he’ll ever be more.

The original sea monster,

Elise

Dear Diary,

You know you’ve done something right as a parent when you don’t have to tell your kids to do their homework.  All the kids get straight to work after dinner.  They rarely ever ask for help either.

Raising genius’,

Elise

Dear Diary,

For the first time in my life I have to say I’m disappointed in my son.  He had a club gathering the other night which had to be awkward.  While they were discussing how Jon Snow is really the true heir to the throne he told Billie he never gave her the house tour.  At first I thought what a good boy I have being super polite to his guests.  However when I saw him and Billie making out on the landing I was shocked.  Monica was right downstairs!  I was always on the fence about my baby having a serious girlfriend but no girl deserves to be treated the way he’s treating Monica.  I think it’s time to have a serious talk with him or I’ll be forced to talk to Monica instead.

Mama didn’t raise no playa,

Elise

Dear Diary,

The day Akira feared has come.  Lore asked him about woohoo the other morning.  I was a bit surprised that she went to her father and not me but they always had a close bond.  Akira had no idea how to answer his darling girl.  Luckily the eggs he was cooking started to burn, distracting him from having to answer Lore.

Next time maybe she’ll come to her mother,

Elise

Dear Diary,

A really sweet moment happened yesterday morning.  Akria got to have breakfast with all of his girls.  Granted no one was really talking to anyone since they were on their phones and finishing last minute school work.  But still we were all together which doesn’t happen often.

Proud member of Akira’s girls (founding memeber),

Elise

Dear Diary,

Can you believe all 6 kids came home with school projects today.  There wasn’t enough room in the house for them all to work so I had to send them outside.  The girls were good and got right to work on them.  My rebellious boy took a nap instead.  I can’t believe all their teachers thought it was a good idea to assign all their projects at the same time.

What is this school system coming to,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Of all my kids I worry the most about Lore. Both twins have each other and lord knows Hiram has enough girls at the moment.  But my poor little Lore is all by herself.  I know she wishes she had a twin.  Someone to have that special bond with.  I can’t help but feel responsible.

Feeling sad today,

Elise

Dear Diary,

After all these years together it’s amazing how in love with my husband I am.  He still finds ways, even if they are small to show me how much he loves me.

Forever in love with Akira,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Hiram has been spending a lot of time over at Monica’s.  I don’t understand why they wouldn’t want to hang out here.  She lives in a small apartment in the city.  There can’t be much room to do much of anything there.

Someone who will never understand teenagers,

Elise

Dear Diary,

I forgot to tell you Akira quit his job.   He was slaving away on these projects that were amazing but he would see no money from since they were the companies.  So he thought why not make them for myself and produce them.  Things will be a little tight for a while but if it means a happy husband then we’ll make it work.

Happy husband, happy life,

Elise

Dear Diary,

I think Lore is in love.  She spends all her time with Nico and when she’s not with him she’s talking about him, sound familiar.  Only unlike her brother and Monica I’m not sure Nico feels the same way.  They are clearly good friends but I fear that may be all they ever will be.

Elise

Dear Diary,

My fear of Nico has been confirmed.  The other day he came over to hang out with Lore but spent most of the day with Jerrica.  The way he was looking at Jerrica was a way I have never seen him look at Lore.  I’m afraid I wasn’t the only one who noticed those looks.

When will it be Lorelei’s day,

Elise

Dear Diary,

It must be swap boyfriends day in the Robinson’s household.  The boy Jerrica had met at the gym, Caleb, came over to see her last night but spent the night with Kimber.  Caleb seems a little dark and dangerous.  I’ll have to keep an eye on him.

No one messes with my babies,

Elise

  1. Wow so much happening in this chapter! I’m so disappointed in Hiram but like you said, teenage boys can be like that. I feel bad for Lore. I think she’s my favorite. I had to laugh at Caleb and Kimber. Was he lurking at the front door as vampires do?
