The Diary of Elise Robinson (Part 8)

This is collaboration project with fellow simmers on the Sim forums where we each play a legacy using the same founder, Elise Robinson. If you’d like to check out the challenge or read the other Elise’s you can find them here

Dear Diary,

We’re all getting a bit tired of Jerrica’s bear phase, especially Lore. She’s started telling Jerrica how no one will want to be her friend when she’s dressed like that. It’s ironic since Lore doesn’t really have any friends.

Where did I go wrong,

Elise

Dear Diary,

My poor Hiram is the one child who always gets in the middle of mine and Akira’s flirting. We were watching some show Hiram won’t stop talking about. Something about a throne. I was getting rather bored with it and I guess so was Akira because he started flirting up a storm. I guess Hiram will have to catch that episode another time.

The only queen of Akira’s throne,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Lore must have realized it didn’t make sense that she was lecturing Jerrica about making friends. I caught her the other day on the computer looking for a pen pal. I do hope she finds someone.

Praying to the pen pal gods,

Elise

Dear Diary,

My rule of not eating on the couch has gone out the window. The couch is covered in stains.  It is no longer worth getting it recovered. Maybe it’s time to get something more kid friendly. Plastic slip covers aren’t too hideous are they?

Sacrificing style for sensible,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Watch out Bobby Flat my baby Hiram is coming for you! Hiram has taken an interest in cooking and he’s quite good at it. This time I mean it, not like the violin. I love the idea of having a world class chef in the family.

Mother of a culinary genius,

Elise

Dear Diary,

My family are pigs! They just leave dirty dishes everywhere! It’s getting out of control. Thank heavens for Lore. She can’t stand an untidy house either.

Disgusted and appalled,

Elise

Dear Diary,

I learned the name of the show Hiram likes is Game Of Thrones. I only know this because he started a club for it. Granted it’s just him and Monica and one other girl from school. Her name is Billie and she’s a senior and she plays guitar in a band. Hiram couldn’t stop talking about her when he got home from their first meeting. I wonder if Monica has a reason to be worried?

To be young again,

Elise

Dear Diary,

As parents we are supposed to love all our kids the same and of course we love all our children with all our hearts. But let’s be honest we do have favorites. Hiram is mine and Lore is Akira’s. Those two have such a special bond, maybe it’s because they are both such cool people.

Let’s hope my kids never read this,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Lore hasn’t heard back from the pen pal site yet. So she’s been filling her time doing what she loves most, painting. She wants to upgrade her wall with more adult pictures.

Still praying for her pen pal,

Elise

Dear Diary,

It seems I was wrong about Monica needing to be worried. Hiram is mad about her. My friend Candy saw them the other day outside the library showing a little too much pda for my liking. Akira may have to have the talk with him again.

What happened to just holding hands,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Jerrica’s bear phase is over, thank goodness.  However both girls are in a Monster High phase.  It’s all they talk about.  They mostly argue over who is the best one.  Jerrica thinks it’s Frankie Stein but Kimber thinks it’s Clawdeen Wolf.  I think they all are kind of ridiculous!

Actually missing the bear costume,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Hiram had another one of his club gatherings the other night.  He asked if he could have it at our place which was fine by me.  Turns out Monica wasn’t feeling well and couldn’t make it.  It was too late to cancel so it was just him and that older girl Billie.  They talked for hours.  It was well past midnight when she left.  Could they really have been talking all that time about a show?

Moinca should try and get better quickly,

Elise

Dear Diary,

It’s our last round of potty training in the Robinson household, knock on wood.  The girls like to go together.  They just sit on the potties and babble away.  It’s probably the most adorable thing I’ve seen.  I can’t believe I will actually miss potty training.

Mother of independent pee-ers,

Elise

Dear Diary,

I have great news.  My dear friend Candy is pregnant!  I’m so excited for her.  It’s her first baby.  Oh how I miss those days of only having one kid.   I can’t wait to met the little darling.  Most of all I can’t wait to be able to give them back to their mommy!  I love babies but no more will be coming out of me.

Hopefully soon to be god mother,

Elise

Dear Diary,

The twins will be aging up soon. Oh how I will miss them being this young and innocent.  Jerrica is still my adventurous one.  She spends hours playing on the jungle gym in the yard.  She no longer wants to be a pirate.  She now wants to be a gymnast.  And my tiny genius Kimber still loves her science projects but she also loves playing dolls with her daddy.  She still wants to cure cancer or discover a new element but she said there’s no reason she can’t do that and be a mom too.

I can’t love these girls enough,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Lorelei, I mean Lore, made a friend!  And not only that he’s a boy!  She didn’t give up much information.  She’s not like Hiram who came running home to tell me about his first kiss.  All I know is his name is Nico and he’s in her Art History class.   I asked the twins if they had seen him and they said they had and that he was very cute.

Like mother like daughter,

Elise

Dear Diary,

I love my husband but sometimes he takes things too far.  Like the other day we were enjoying some tv time with Jamie when a commercial for Dumbo came on.  He said to Jamie ‘look it’s mommy’.  Of course Jamie found it hilarious.  I did not.  What woman wants to be called an elephant.

Man are so stupid sometimes,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Diary there was a very important birthday the other day….mine!  I didn’t want to make a big fuss.  Akira waited until the kids were asleep and we had a little celebration.  It was perfect.  I always hated the idea of getting older but I love the thought of growing old with Akira.

The luckiest birthday girl,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Mine wasn’t the only birthday this week, Jerrica and Kimber were turning into teenagers.  Of course we couldn’t do a quiet celebration like mine.  We needed the whole family around to celebrate.  I could no longer get away with dressing them the same.  Kimber opted for a chic smart look and Jerrica went for a more sporty attire. No matter what they wore they are both beautiful girls!

Teens are overtaking this house,

Elise

  1. All such good looking kids! Ha! Nico. There’s a Nico in my family so his name tickled me. So much drama going on in the household. That elephant joke was pretty funny… her reaction was funnier.

    Liked by 3 people

  2. Love all the happenings going on in the house and all the little tidbits of info. Laughed at mother of independent pee-ers! lol I really like your story in diary-form. It’s a great way to tell a story, but in segments. Great idea!
