The Diary of Elise Robinson (Part 6)

This is collaboration project with fellow simmers on the Sim forums where we each play a legacy using the same founder, Elise Robinson. If you’d like to check out the challenge or read the other Elise’s you can find them here

Dear Diary,

I never thought I’d be that mom that dresses her kids in matching outfits.  But the twins are too darn cute not to.  I did however give them different colors.  Jerrica will be wearing pink and Kimber will be in purple.  This way Akira can tell them apart.  I of course being there mother always know who’s who.

Seeing double,

Elise

Dear Diary,

With so many girls in the house I could tell Hiram was starting to feel a little left out.  In the mornings we both get up a little earlier then the rest so we can have a quiet breakfast just the two of us.  It’s a time I will cherish forever.

Glad to have my mama’s boy,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Kimber has entered a fussy phase.  She refuses to eat anything we make her.  They other day she threw the perfectly good yogurt Akira had made her all over the floor.  Of course Akira was furious and wasn’t about to let this slide.  I however I’m such a softy.  Just one look from that little face and all is forgiven.

Trying hard to be more strict,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Hiram is still in the friendzone with Monica.  And frankly I’m thrilled.  After thinking about it I’m not ready to share my baby boy with another girl.  Maybe I’ll tell Akira to talk to him about no dating until he’s 30?

Hiram’s number one and only girl,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Four kids later and my darling husband still thinks I’m the most attractive person on this planet!  He still looks at me like he’s picturing all the naughty things we do together.  We need to be careful though or that four number will become much larger.

I’ve still got it,

Elise

Dear Diary,

I’ve told you how my children are basically artistic prodigies right.  Well they are still at it.  I can’t turn around without seeing Lorelei drawing me a masterpiece.  And Hiram is constantly filling the house with the most lovely sounds.  I wonder if the twins will be as gifted as their older siblings.

Proud mama,

Elise

Dear Diary,

I’ve learned Kimber has a talent.  A talent for making messes.  I don’t understand how someone so little can make such a big mess.

Still proud mama,

Elise

Dear Diary,

I’m officially the worst mother in the world!  Last night after I thought all the kids had gone to bed, Akira and I sat on the couch just talking like married couple do.  Now you know how much a love that Hiram plays the violin.  I think he’s amazingly talented.  But let’s face it the violin isn’t the easiest thing to listen to all the time.  I was telling Akira how I was going to need to invest in earplugs for the next few years to get through Hiram’s playing.  Of course I had no clue that Hiram was standing right behind me.  My heart broke when I saw his sad face.

The girl who hates herself so much,

Elise

Dear Diary,

My maternity leave is over.  Time for this mama to make some money.  With both Akira and I working we had to hire a nanny for the twins and to help around the house.  We found a nice grad student who’s studying to be a child psychologist.  His name is Ben.  The kids all get along with him great, that is everyone except Jerrica.  It just takes her time to warm up to new people.

Relieved to have a lesser load,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Both kids came home with school projects today.  They need to build a model of Camelot by tomorrow.  How do these teachers expect children to complete something so massive on top of their normal school load.  I really should write a letter to the principal.  Of course neither of them could finish before bed time so a little elf named daddy helped while they were sleeping.

What has become of the school system these days,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Lorelei is still struggling to make friends.  With Monica being over so much I suggested she get to know her a bit.  Maybe then Monica will spend a little less time with Hiram.  Who knows maybe Monica is meant to be Lorelei’s bff not Hiram’s girlfriend.

Trying to kill two birds with one stone,

Elise

Dear Diary,

I had to dismiss Ben today.  My sweet angel Jerrica finally was getting comfortable around him.  Apparently though he showed her no love in return.  He said you can’t coddle children or they will grow up to be weak and dependent on you.  Obviously someone should get his money back because he’s learning nothing about children over at that school of his.

Proud coddler of children,

Elise

Dear Diary,

I don’t know when it happened but our house has become hell on earth.  If it’s not one child complaining about how unfair we are it’s someone else complaining we don’t buy them enough toys.  Not to mention there seems to be a constant mess somewhere in the house.   Akira and I need a vacation, an adult only vacation.

Searching for paradise,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Lorelei’s jealousy of her sisters has gone away but now it seems Hiram has the green eye.  Not only is he the oldest and most independent but he’s the only boy.  Akira was his partner in crime in this house full of girls.  When he sees him playing with one of his little sisters it must make him feel like he’s lost his buddy.

It’s always something,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Hiram may have a problem living in a house full of girls but he has no issues with having a best friend who’s one.  Though I’m guessing he secretly wishes she was more then just a friend.  I shutter just thinking about that.

Wishing for a nice family with lots of boys to move in next door,

Elise

Dear Diary,

It was Akira’s birthday the other day.  How is it my husband seems to get sexier with age?  He has very good genes and looks really good in them too!

Currently sleeping with an older men,

Elise

Dear Diary,

The day I was dreading has finally come.  It’s official Hiram and Monica are boyfriend and girlfriend.  Luckily at this age that means that the only thing they do is hug.  Hopefully he’ll get her out of his system before I have to worry about the other stuff.

No longer the only girl in Hiram’s life,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Kimber continues to act out.  Yesterday I found her eating grilled cheese on my white couch.  One of the rules we have in this house is no eating on that couch. Needless to say I had to pay $500 to remove a giant cheese colored stain!

This is why I can’t have nice things,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Mr. Stalker is back.  That’s what I call him since I never learned his name.  I told him our little chats had to stop.  I felt guilty about keeping this from Akira.  He told me we could always go back to the way things were, him stalking in the distant, me pretending to be scared.

Happily going back to normal,

Elise

Dear Diary,

In a few days my little darlings will grow up.  The won’t need me as much.  They certainly won’t want me tucking them in anymore.  Oh how much I love tucking them in.  Smelling those precious little heads and kissing those perfect tiny foreheads.  They say growing up is hard they never mention how hard it is for us parents.

Wanting to freeze time,

Elise

Dear Diary,

It looks like my days of tucking in babies aren’t done yet.  I’m pregnant.  This was a total shock.  Akira and I figured we were done.  I mean four kids is a lot.  That just goes to show you you always need to use protection.

Are we really doing this again,

Elise
