The Diary of Elise Robinson (Part 4)

This is collaboration project with fellow simmers on the Sim forums where we each play a legacy using the same founder, Elise Robinson. If you’d like to check out the challenge or read the other Elise’s you can find them here

There will be no more warnings after this about reading my personal, meant only for me, diary.  I’m wasting my time with it since you continue to read on.

Dear Diary,

Lorelei is home and she is amazing.  She’s just so delicious I want to eat her up.  She’s the perfect baby.  She rarely fuses and sleeps through the night.  I can’t believe how lucky I am getting the best and most beautiful children ever.  Well I guess it makes sense since they do have their daddy’s genes.

Living the perfect life,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Remember when I told you Hiram was almost potty trained?  Well ever since we brought Lorelei home he’s been having tons of accidents.  I think he may be jealous of all the attention his little sister is getting.

Your covered in pee friend,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Hiram’s behavior is getting worse.  Today he threw a whole plate of mac and cheese on the floor.  The cheeky little brat even gave me this ‘you going to clean that up’ look.  We need to nip this phase in the butt quick or else I may go insane.

At my wits end,

Elise

Dear Diary,

A miracle happened today.  Both kids took naps at the same time!  I can’t remember the last time I had so much free time.  Of course I didn’t do anything fun with that time because there were still things to get done around the house.  But that didn’t even matter because it was kid free!

Desperately in need of a vacation,

Elise

Dear Diary,

You’re probably wondering where Akira is.  Why isn’t he helping me with the kids and the household?  I know if he could you would be but since I’m still on maternity leave money is tight around here.  Akira spends all of his time working on getting a promotion.  I know it kills him that he can’t spend as much time with me and the kids.  Luckily his computer is in our room so he gets time with Lorelei.

Very proud wife,

Elise

Dear Diary,

I met my stalker last night!  I was going out to do a little late night gardening when there he was just standing right in front of our house.  I’ll admit at first I wasn’t sure if I should run back inside and call the police.  But weirdly enough I wasn’t scared of him, I actually was curious why he choose me.  We got to talking and he really is rather sweet, once you get past the whole creepy stalker vibe he gives off.  I didn’t tell Akira though so mum’s the word.  He would kill me if he found out.

Shhhhh,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Hiram had a nightmare last night.  That’s the third one this week.  Do you think this is still him just acting out or something else.  I’ll have to look online later to see if I should be worried.

Concerned mama,

Elise

Dear Diary,

My baby girl is now a toddler.  It was like I blinked and she grew up so much.  I fear those days of being a perfect child are over.  She seems so fussy since she’s aged.  Akira was giving her breakfast the other day and she just threw the whole bowl of cereal on the floor.  She then preceded to pout that she no longer had breakfast.  I’m starting to rethink toddlers being so easy.

Praying for the terrible twos to be over,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Hiram’s night mares have stopped but now Lorelei is getting them.  Could it be something in the house.  What if we have an evil spirit here.  I’m going to look up a number for an exorcist in the morning.

Your frightened friend,

Elise

Dear Diary,

My little Hiram has a bit of a green thumb.  It’s become our tradition to work in the garden together.  I love our mommy/son time.  I hope it’s something he won’t grow out of.  Maybe we’ll even open up a landscaping business one day.

Future owner of Robinson and Son Lawncare,

Elise

Dear Diary,

I love the time that the four of us spend as a family.  It’s those moments you wish you could freeze and make last forever.  But that doesn’t mean I like my alone time with my husband any less.  If it wasn’t for that alone time I wouldn’t have these beautiful babies.  Oh I have to go diary, Akira just put the kids to bed!

Off to spend some couple time with the hubby,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Even though I’m on maternity leave doesn’t mean I’m not working.  I invited the head of the commission board who’s vote I need to pass my parks for every child bill.  She was shocked I was able to get anything done in a house of toddlers.  I told them they were angels so it was easy.  Sadly in the end I didn’t get her vote.  She mustn’t have any children because what mother doesn’t want more parks for her darlings.

Proud supporter of parks for kids,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Those little angels didn’t stay that way for long.  It’s more like little devils now.  Well to be fair one little devil.  Lorelei bit Hiram today.  She bit him!  What happened to my sweet baby girl??  I can’t understand where she would have learned this behavior.  It’s not like Akira and I act that way in front of the kids. I mean there was that one time when Akira was nibbling my neck but it certainly wasn’t painful.  Why most kids pick up on everything?

Sadly no longer getting nibbled on,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Hurricane Clara blew in last night.  I hadn’t spoken to Clara since that night that she used me as her cover for cheating on her husband.   Last night Akira and I were cuddling on the couch when we heard a large crash outside.  I feared it was my stalker and Akira would find out I had lied to him.  It turned out to be Clara knocking over our garbage can.  Akira went out there to talk some sense into her, it didn’t go well.  Her husband found out about her boyfriend and she thinks I was the one who told.  Can you believe some people.  I mean I only told Candy…oh and the mailman.

Busy taking out the trash (see what I did there),

Elise

Dear Diary,

We had the most lovely day today.  Akira and I decided to take the kids out to the local park.  It’s actually one of the parks built under my bill, oh yeah the bill passed.  The kids loved ever second of it.  Is there nothing better then the sound of giggling toddlers.

Blissfully happy in every way,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Diary you won’t believe it I’m pregnant again!  I could hardly believe it when the test came back positive.   Akira of course was thrilled.  However I don’t think Hiram was too pleased to find out he’d have another sibling.

Can’t wait to get that baby belly,

Elise

Dear Diary,

My little man is now a full grown child.  Ugh time can you just stop.  It was only yesterday I was complaining about his accidents and now I would give anything for those days.

Sad mama,

Elise

Dear Diary,

I think I may have lost my place as Hiram’s favorite parent.   It’s all about dad these days.  How can I compete with a dad who’s a professional gamer, well on his way to being one.  It breaks my heart a little I’m not going to lie but I know it’s only temporary.  No one can ever replace a mother in a sons eyes.

Currently number two, but hopefully not for long,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Oh diary I didn’t know if I believed in angels until today because I saw one.   I waddled outside for a little walk and there he was shining like he had just floated down from heaven.  I was mortified for such a god to see me looking like a beached whale.  Of course I’m a happily married women but a girls allowed to look every once in awhile.

Crushing just a little, don’t tell Akira,

Elise

Dear Diary,

The funniest thing happened the other day.  I was having breakfast with Hiram, a rare mom and son moment for once.  Akira comes in and grabs me in a gorgeous kiss.  Of course Hiram was grossed out and told us to get a room.  So that’s actually what we did!  I doubt Hiram knew what we were really doing in there.  He probably thought we were just kissing.  We are so naughty!

Your naughty girl,

Elise

  1. My favorite “Busy taking out the trash (see what I did there),” Naughty Clara! Hiram is so cute. I can’t believe Lorelei bit Hiram! I knew they could do it and I’ve seen it as an option when playing them but I’ve never had a toddler do it! I’ve had them hit their parents though. Looking forward to seeing if the new baby is a boy or a girl!
