The Diary of Elise Robinson (Part 3)

This is collaboration project with fellow simmers on the Sim forums where we each play a legacy using the same founder, Elise Robinson. If you’d like to check out the challenge or read the other Elise’s you can find them here

Why do I even bother to warn you not to read this if you are not Elise Robinson.  It feels like you just aren’t listening to me anyway.  I guess my curses on you are not working either.  Fine read my diary!  I’m probably long gone by now anyway.  Just know that you are reading my inner most soul.  I’ve entrusted you to keep what you read here to yourselves.  If you don’t I promise I will haunt you all the days of your life.

Dear Diary,

I have some terribly sad news diary.  Cupcake is gone!  It’s so hard to even write that.  I don’t know what happened.  He was a happy healthy boy when I went to bed last night and when I woke up this morning all that was left was a skeleton.  I’m really worried that if I can’t take care of a cowplant how will I ever raise a child.

Completely heartbroken,

Elise

Dear Diary,

I’m still getting over my sweet cupcake.  Akira has been amazing.  He knew I needed some time alone to grieve so he spent the whole day at the library working towards his next promotion.  How did I ever get to be so lucky with a guy like him.

Soon to be wife of a newly promoted fiance,

Elise

Dear Diary,

As hard as it is life is getting back to normal.  I still miss Cupcake but I need to be strong for the little nugget in my belly.  I’m counting down the days until I get to meet them.  In the mean time I’ve been keeping myself busy.  Oh and Akira got that promotion, he’s now a Code Monkey, whatever that is.  He does something with computers that’s really all I know about his work.

Your not so tech savy friend,

Elise

Dear Diary,

I think my stalker is back!  When I told Akira about mister creepy old man he was livid that I never called the police.  Honestly he had stopped coming by so I didn’t feel the need to involve them.  But last night Akira and I were having a little fun before bedtime when I heard footsteps outside but when I checked there was no one there.  I went back to focusing on my fiance after that.  I’m probably wrong.  It may have just been the neighbors cat rummaging in my garden again.

Miss worry wort,

Elise

Dear Diary,

It’s official!  Akira is now my husband and I’m his wife.  We were going to wait until after the baby was born.  I didn’t want to look like a whale on my wedding day.  But Akira told me he couldn’t wait a second more to be mine.  He is the best.  I’m the luckiest girl alive.  It wasn’t much, just us over by this little pier near our house.  Akira even shaved for the occasion.  Honestly dear diary the day couldn’t have been more perfect ❤

Happily married and loving it,

Elise

Dear Diary,

With the baby coming soon and Akira and I both doing so well at work we decided we could afford a little remodeling.  We knocked down my little shack and started building the house of our dreams.  It’s still tiny but like our family it will just continue to grow.  Oh and I found the most fabulous couch.  It was a little pricer then Akira liked but sometimes a girls got to treat herself.

First time homeowner (before didn’t count),

Elise

Dear Diary,

The baby is finally here!  I went into labor 8 hours ago.  Akira tried to keep his cool but the poor dear failed miserably.  He was so panicked that he missed the birth.  Poor Akira is really beating himself up over it.   I told him he didn’t miss much.  Honestly if I could have skipped that part I would have too.  Anyway what’s most important is that we have a beautiful healthy baby boy.  Yes you heard me correctly a boy!  He’s absolutely perfect!

No longer mommy to be,

Elise

Dear Diary,

I’m sorry I haven’t written to you in a while but I can’t help but want to spend every second with Hiram.  That’s what we named the baby.  I remember reading that name somewhere and I remember thinking that’s the name of someone who’s successful and important.  It’s exactly what I wish for my son to be.  Sorry this entry is so short I must go try and steal little Hiram away from Akira because I miss him too much when he’s not in my arms.

The mama of the next president of the United States,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Babies don’t remember stuff right?  I read somewhere they didn’t have real memories until they are like 4 or 5.  I pray that is true because I don’t want little Hiram remembering what his mommy and daddy did the other night.  We tried so hard to be quiet but sometimes a girl just needs to scream.

Worst parent of the year,

Elise

Dear Diary,

You’ll never believe it but I’m pregnant again!  I didn’t even think it was possible to get pregnant so quickly after but it’s a crazy world we live in.  Of course Akira and I are ecstatic.  We both want a big family.  I just don’t want Hiram to feel neglected or ignored because of the new baby.

Your nervous but also happy friend,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Today has to have been the scariest day of my life.  It started like any other day.  Akira was preparing lunch when all of the sudden the flames shot up and he caught on fire.  I immediately rushed to protect Hiram.  Akira was a little miffed me not even asking if he was ok while I snuggled my precious baby boy.  I can hardly believe how close I was to losing everything. I don’t know what I would do if I lost Akira or Hiram.  It’s days like this that make us a truly appreciate the time we have here.

Making every moment matter from now on,

Elise

Dear Diary,

I need some estrogen in my life.  Don’t get me wrong I love my boys but if I didn’t see someone else with boobs soon I’m going to go crazy.  Luckily Clara invited me out tonight.  Though I was not happy when it turned out she had just invited me out to cover for the fact she was meeting a man who was not her husband.  That will be the last time I hang out with her.  I did meet a new friend so the night wasn’t a total waste.  Her name is Candy.  She’s a DJ, how cool is that, and she has pink hair!  I’m pretty sure we will be besties.

This girls still got it,

Elise

Dear Diary,

My belly isn’t the only thing growing these days.  We’ve expanded the house a bit.  Hiram is getting bigger and needs his own space.  Also Akira and I need somewhere private where we can do adult things.  I don’t know how I ever lived in such a small space before.  Remember when the only piece of furniture I owned was that stiff cot.

Moving on up,

Elise

Dear Diary,

My precious baby boy is no longer a baby anymore.  He’s a toddler now.  Oh I don’t think I can handle him getting any older.  Maybe I can find a time machine somewhere to stop him from aging.  Hiram is such a silly kid.  Of course he’s so handsome.  He’s going to be a heart breaker.  But I know he’ll always be a mamas boy.

Hiram’s number 1 girl forever,

Elise

Dear Diary,

Whoever said life with a toddler is hard I don’t know what they are talking about.  Hiram is a dream at this age.  He’s funny and smart.  He’s even almost potty trained.  I know I’m biased because I’m his mother but he really is the best kid ever.

The proudest mama in the world,

Elise

Dear Diary,

We are now a family of four!  Akira was actually there for the birth this time.  Thank goodness because I wasn’t going to listen to all that whining about missing it again.  At 6:05am Akira and I welcomed our daughter Lorelei into the world.  If there was a picture next to the word perfect in the dictionary, Lorelei’s sweet face would be there.  I love her more then I thought it possible to love someone.  Can you believe I’m the mother of two now??  I told the doctor that and he prescribed me lots of sleep and a bottle of wine.

Always the good patient,

Elise

  1. Best chapter so far! RIP Cupcake. We will all mourn his loss. I am obsessed with making sure that CowLick is fed regularly. When they sleep I keep the camera on him and if the cake pops out I wake someone to feed him! They looked very snazzy at their little wedding. Hiram is adorable. Lorelei coming along was great though because of the whole girl heir thing of course. But there’s something about the little boys that pulls my heart strings!
